Position Overview

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in Milan. This role is pivotal in supporting the Senior Procurement Manager to ensure the success of community campaigns in Italy and internationally. You will be responsible for supplier management, product selection, negotiations, and reporting, while introducing new ideas and staying ahead of market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including regular appraisals and development meetings.

  • Support new product introduction and manage critical path processes to ensure timely delivery.

  • Identify and negotiate with new suppliers to improve margin competitiveness and expand sourcing opportunities.

  • Assist in managing supply agreements in coordination with Group Legal.

  • Support major programmes by ensuring capacity, quality, and risk management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Legal, IT) and attend trade fairs to scout for new ideas and market innovations.

  • Conduct price comparisons, manage product portfolios, and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements.

  • Analyse post-campaign supplier performance and generate reports on KPIs.

  • Prepare presentations and reports for management purposes.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, Italian.

  • Min 3 years experience in a similar role within sourcing, trading, or retail.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.

  • Creative thinker with strong interest in innovation and emerging trends.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to travel as required.
